Learning to Play

You may not be able to play a Highland Band instrument but would like to join, is that possible?

Yes, as many as 30% of our members are in training to play either the bagpipes or the drums.

Once you join, experienced tutors will be allocated to you, people who are playing members using either the pipes or the drums.
Your tutors, will work with you as long as is necessary to become a playing member of our band.

It doesn't matter how old you are or how experienced you are with musical instruments, we are a group of people who enjoy making Highland Band music and help others do the same.
